INSTALLATION

Here you will find installation notes for Accu-Cut and EZ-Cut carpet, vinyl and turf cutting machines for Australia, New Zealand and the world.

Accu-Cut Installation Notes for models including J2, J5, Q7 and Q9

All models except IVC16, X33, X77 and T44
All Accu-Cut carpet, vinyl and turf cutting machines require 240V 15A single phase supply. The exceptions to this are models IVC16, X33, X77 and T44. These four models require 240V 30A single phase supply. (See further down the page)

Clipsal 56C315
For 15A models a combination switch/socket is required either mounted to a wall or hanging on a chain from the roof near to where the machine will be installed. Suitable products are Clipsal 56C315 and NHP ISOC315PG
56CSC315
For 15A models if you are using an extension lead an inline socket is required. We advise against using extension leads wherever possible. Suitable products are Clipsal 56CSC315 and NHP ISOEX315P
Nitto Female Coupler
A female coupling will be required adjacent to where the machine is to be installed. Nitto is the recommended air fitting as used throughout Australia & New Zealand.

WEIGHTS

It is important to note that forklifts often specify their capacity at 600mm from the tine out to the centre of the load and height above the tine to the centre of the load. The centre of the load for most Accu-Cut carpet cutting machines is 1000 to 1200mm, so a larger capacity forklift is required to lift a machine safely. We recommend at least a 2000kg forklift for machines weighing 1000kg or more.
